Kyle and Jackie O - Enough

The majority of Australia now knows about the scandal surrounding the Kyle and Jackie O (radio) Show, where they broadcast live, a 14 year old girl strapped to a lie detector, and questioned by her mother about drugs and her sex life. This is not the first time the lie detector stunt has been broadcast, with parents and children, and partners previously participating. On air, she revealed she had been raped as a 12 year old, and Kyle infamously then asked "Right. And is that, is that the only experience you've had?" It turned out the girl's mother knew about this previously, but still went through with participating in the segment.

This incident alone has provoked calls to take the show off the air, and higher concequences for Kyle and Jackie O. I do believe the mother is to blame, and am glad they are now getting the professional help they need.

Let us not forget past 'stunts' pulled by Kyle and Jackie O. I believe personally, they should have been taken off the air long ago. Its sickening.

REVIEW: Lanolips

I'm a sucker for lip gloss, lip balms and lipsticks. Mostly nude/pink shades, I've never been a really red lips fan (for myself, anyway!)

This winter has seen my lips get dry and flakey, with nothing seeming to work.

I've been hearing these raves about 'lanolips' for a while. Its made from lanolin, a natural product extracted from sheeps wool, which is an amazing and natural hydrator. Lanolips is cruelty free, contains SPF15+ and comes in both a colourless ointment, or tinted, in several shades.

[L-R: Rose, Apples, Sunshine, Dark Honey]

I got the 'Rose' shade, as it is a lovely nude pink. I think I'll go back and get the 'Apples' shade too! Its a lovely consistency, not sticky at all, and stays on for a long time.

It retails at Priceline and other stores for $17.95 (the colourless 101 ointment) and $13.95 (coloured ointments)
